I've had an X1 triple play for some time now. I'm in the Philly area and I know that the cloud dvr service is now available here. I don't have access and I've tried via phone and via chat to find get access turned on. I get a different answer every time. Quite frankly, it's not that important to me, but I'd give it a try if they'd let me.
Today's conversation ended with the rep telling me that I need a new X1 box - mine does not have 'cloud capabilities.' Could be true, but with several different answers, I'm a little skeptical. And I'd rather not lose all my recordings and have to reprogram from scratch.
Does anyone know if it's true that there are different flavors of X1 DVRs, some with cloud access and some without? I have a PACE PX001ANM - just a single DVR, not anyroom. Thanks in advance.
