[X1-X2] Cannot get used to X1-m

We took our Comcast DVR box back because it was starting to have problems, it was over 5 years old. We were just going to get a new box but the sales rep told us they had a new system that only took one main box that recorded on all TVs in your house. I liked the fact that you could record up to 4 shows and watch a 5th, so much better than on the old box. But that's about the only thing she told us about it. I wish she would have been more descriptive about the system and I wish I would have thought to ask more questions, but I just assumed it would be like the other DVR machines we've had. The problems started as soon as we tried to install it, after being on the phone for over an hour and getting error messages and being transferred around and around, it finally came down to the sales rep had input the wrong serial number of the machine. Then came trying to figure it out, the on screen TV guide is very hard to see, I wish there was a way to change the color of the font. I agree with a lot of what others have written on here. For example: On-Demand has the Netflix user interface with annoying popup info bubbles with a very short description unless you disable them. You need to press info for each individual program to view its summary. My old DVR box the Programs are in list format with visible summary for each program in full view and you knew what the heck you were seeing. This is kind of minor but on the second box in the bedroom there is no clock, on the old one there was. There is way too much scrolling around to find what you want, with the old DVR and remote it was bam bam bam. This is supposed to be more up to date? Well it shouldn't take longer to do things. But the number one issue I have with it and what I used the most on my old DVR is that it has no program reminder feature. I could not believe when I looked for it, there's Record of course and Favorites, but no reminder. That one feature if I would have known about it would have made the decision for me not to get it. I should have asked more questions and the sales rep should have explained more. I think this is going back.
