[Comcast Equip] Samsung RNG150N and IR extension

Ok so the basement is being framed out for it's grand remodel. In what will be the bar area, I'll have two TVs, and am running HDMI and coax to those locations. However, I'd like to have the cable boxes in my AV/server room. So I picked up a BlastIR Pro from Sewell. So far, I am not having much luck with the Samsung RNG150N boxes. The blaster is positioned over top of the IR window (found that by placing a bright flashlight on the top of the unit, the vent holes in the top helped give away it's location) and I know the receivers are powered up and good. So.... I read somewhere that those units may need an external receiver plugged into the EXT IR port on the unit in order to work with a blaster. Folks have some experience on these you would care to share? Thanks. -- TheGlobalMind.com / Speed costs money.
