after scheduling a tranfer to a new residence the tech showed up to discover that the home had never been wired for cable. not only in the home but from the tap. no box, no lines and no tap connections. i should mention that we have a tap in our yard. the tech called for a tap matinence service for the next day and i called and confirmed that evening. no one from comcast or the contractors called or showed. so...i called and repeated for the next 8 days and was promised everyday that there would be someone there between 8am and 11pm, and no one has showed.
the installed tech came back a few days later when he was scheduled to find that the work was not done. he wasnt surprised. a few days after that a supervisor showed up to check on the quality of work that had been done, only no work had been done. he was confused about this. made a call to his supervisor to get things straightened out. nothing happened. so it has been 9 days now and i was just promised that someone would be out tonight by 7pm to take care of the tap issues so a tech could do a full install tomorrow morning to complete our order. highly unlikely. i have been told so many stories in an attempt to satisfy my need for someone to fix the issues that we have it is comedic. they have one more day...
