I just noticed that if I have my DCX3400-M set with power save mode on, hitting ANY remote key when it is off will wake it up. If the power save is off, then only POWER turns it on.
I should mention there is a difference. With power save off, when I turn it on, it usually turns on the display very fast. With power save on, it takes 2-3 seconds for the display to turn on. Also, the analog video output (I use it for a remote TV) has no signal when power save is on, and the box is off (usually after a few seconds.) No big deal, as it takes longer for the TV and receiver to turn on.
