I recently swapped out my old X1 box from a few years ago to a new one.
I saw that my priority list and recordings was still there. So when it started recording shows on the new box. The play back of these were not as good live tv. The scenes had blury spots meaning the recordings were lower quality.
When I fast forward or rewind thru these recordings they're like a slideshow instead of FF RW smoothly.
My old box recordings were just as good as live TV. I need to know how to fix this.
These recordings are worse than the quality of on-demand shows.
So I was checking out the on-demand stuff, and that plays back much better. Fast fowards backwards even better than my dvr recordings. The DVR even said I had no recordings in my saved list, even though it showing stuff.
I have a tech coming out on friday, something is really messed up. Brand new box too. Just put it in yesterday.
