My company is getting more and more into doing CATV distribution in buildings wiring out apartment complexes for companies like Comcast, Charter, COX, etc.. to deliver content. Usually how it's done is we run the coax to the apartments back to the central electrical / telcom closet on each floor. Then the provider comes in and runs their hardline and installs their taps. However we're getting into doing some larger scale projects and are going to start doing hardline and taps ourselves inside the buildings for some projects. When looking into this what is the range for the frequencies that you would recommend understanding that there's more platforms like X1 that also use MOCA?
I've used Holland a bunch but are there any recommendations for other manufacturers?
We use TechToolSupply for online ordering, but would you recommend any local brick and mortar supply houses? We've got accounts with numerous suppliers but they all tend to be on more the home theater equipment, raw cabling, testing, etc.. as opposed to Splitters, Taps, Amps, etc...
