I can understand why "on demand" kicks you out of pause after a few minutes. It's the saved shows that have different end times. I've (accidentally) left saved shows paused for hours and they just stayed paused behind the screen saver. Other shows seem to exit after 5 minutes or maybe longer.
Why the inconsistency? Is it set by the show's network?
