I've been noticing, mostly on the weekends for some weird reason, batches of SD channels that are anamorphic 4:3 (vertically stretched) instead of the normal letterbox or pan-and-scan. They may be fine one day, then back to the anamorphic stretch the next.
At the moment, they are: Food, History, A&E, Freeform, TLN, Fox News, HGTV.
This is in the NW Chicago suburbs.
