Why is Comcast STILL not willing to authenticate with the STARZ app??? When Comcast first stopped authenticating, the reason they gave was because they disagreed with Starz making the option available for consumers to subscribe directly with them instead of having to going through a TV provider (which in my opinion was a bit dictatorial).... But what is the deal now??? HBO now offers the SAME option to bypass a TV provider and subscribe directly with them... There will be many other networks to follow. When will Comcast reinstate authenication rights for the Starz App? OR will they begin revoking authenication rights for every network app that attempts to operate independently from TV providers? Are they "cherry picking"? Or is it a matter of time before they stop authenication for the HBO app AND any other network app that offers consumers a subscription independently of TV providers???
