I have a small 24" LCD HDTV that has been connected to a DCT700. The DCT700 is pretty old (2003 if I go by the copyright on Time Warner's manual for their DCT700s https://www.timewarnercable.com/content/dam/residential/images/support/faqs/TV/digital-cable/motorola/motorola_dct700_userguide.pdf .
It also has some pretty bad ghosting if using the coax output, although it's slightly improved when going with the red, white, yellow composite signal.
As part of the recent rate hike, I'm evaluating the equipment I have on hand and it was pointed out that this DCT700 does OnDemand, but I can't get it to play back well at all. I think the signals are fine when playing regular shows, it just has a lot of pixelation and stutters when trying to do OnDemand, including things like SD versions of Big Brother and other shows highlighted on the front of the menu.
Is this unique to me (perhaps my signals) or have other people with similar equipment noticed playback issues too ?
