I've been wondering... How does Comcast and other cable tv providers get standard def signals? After seeing Standard Def service in hotels, I'm wondering who originates it? Basically, local tv no longer send standard def, do they? Does Comcast down rez HD? fyi: I have Comcast, which is why I posted here..
