I was wondering if anyone might know an answer to this. Im currently on an internet only package, dont exactly care about tv. But it seems that my best pricing is going to end up coming from a double play. Im considering accepting the and requesting a cablecard for a hdhomerun prime. Next comes a question regarding plex. I have most of my home wired into a plex server for movies and media. And from what i read about plex plus hdhome run, is what shows up depending on the cable company and what channels are drm encrypted. I dont really care if anything shows up besides locals, but im curious what i may get. Also rumor has it that by having a cablecard you can get on a "tivo plan" which includes free hd. Is that a thing, and finally what fees do i still incur by having a video service, i assume i still need to pay the broadcast tv fee but the box rental would be gone.
