I recently switched from Dish Network to Xfinity after being a Dish customer since 2002. I was having problem after problem with the Hopper 3 and also serious rain fade as well as CBS WINK blacked out since December. I was originally given an X1 Version 1 STB and was having sound problems. A tech came out and replaced the box with an X1 Version 2 STB. It is great and has a HD/1080P resolution setting. The tech said they also have an X1 UHD box now if you want it for no extra charge.
I got the double play TV and Internet. I already had Xfinity internet along with Dish. My internet downloads are pushing 200 megabits where before I was getting 60. I am also saving about $40 a month
So far so good.
