A neighbor had Spanish language on an English language station. He called me to his house during a Huskies football game on KOMO yesterday asking for help. The game commentary was in Spanish instead of English. I worked my way through his X-Finity HD cable box. First off the guide said language was English. Set to default main channel audio. I witched to secondary audio channel, also Spanish. Switched back to main audio channel.
Box was configured correctly as far as I know. I have the same box. My neighbor had the game on anothr TV in SD with English commentary. The cable box on the first TV was set to auto-redirect SD channel to HD channel, so he couldn't get to the SD channel on his big tv.
I went home and had English on my box on the same Comcast channel.
Another neighbor called a few minutes later to say he had Spanish on his TV and couldn't fix it.
Is this a part of Comcast's deteriorating service? On my tv, I see "Please Wait" with three dots waaay too much of the time. Anyone got ideas???
