I have a question regarding a new install, the tech showed up today to install my new service which includes tv phone and gig internet my question is does the professional install consist of running all new wires? because the tech said he was going to splice in to some old Directv lines and he wouldn't have to run new wires would that set-up work? I just told the guy to reschedule the install because that just didn't sound right to me, I was told when I ordered Xfinity that everything would be newly ran since I never had Xfinity at this address we've had Directv only for the past 20 plus yrs. So can anyone shed some light on what I can expect on a new install.
