I have been literally trying to get Comcast to fix this CP Auth message for over a week now.
I have spent over 10 hours on the phone with Comcast with no avail. I have done all their scripted troubleshooting steps that lead to absolutely nothing.
In the past when a tech comes out and calls their internal cable card team it works immediately. I have had this device working for 8 years and now that I moved there have been major hiccups. When I change the channel to premium channels like HBO and Showtime I get a message from Windows Media Center "Subscription required" and when I look at the Ceton diagnostics tool I can see the message "CableCARD has not received CP Auth. Call your cable company to verify the information is entered correctly for this CableCARD and have them resend the signals"
I don't know what else to do, all I get is passed around to different tech support people who don't know what a cable card is and then they end up putting me in a queue that is never answered or answered by a completely different department. I'm really upset and I don't know what else to do.
