I have an annoying problem that I'm hoping someone can resolve. Apparently every night Comcast updates it's x1 box. I turn on the TV in the AM and the settings are 480i through HDMI connection to a Onkyo HT-RC330 and I have a black screen on my Sony RC52-60" TV. I have tried shutting down and restarting and no change. What I have found is that if I disconnect the HDMI input from the cable box or the receiver that it reverts back to 1080P60 with picture and sound. I have deliberately changed my settings to 1080 and 720 to see if it had anything to do with 1080P60, but still have the same issue I have changed the HDMI cable and it has made no difference. I know it has something to do with the early AM update as once I do this (Unplug and reconnect the HDMI connection) the TV and receiver can be shut down and started many times over the day and night before the update takes place. Any ideas on how to correct this problem and is anyone else having the same issue?
