According to a web search, customers with xfinity x1 equipment and firmware can experience the x2 software by keying in a few simple things:

I would have replied this into an x2 specific thread but it wouldn't allow it.
Has anyone had any luck with this? I am in west central Illinois. I currently have xfinity triple play premier with 1 hd dvr RNG200N, 2 hd boxes RNG150N, and 1 dta. I am swapping out everything but the DTA for 1 main x1 box, and 3 x1 access boxes.
I am somewhat worried my cable lines may not be able to handle the MoCa connection. One technician told me once that the main line outside may have to be replaced along the side of the house. I have paid for wire maintenance for 2 years and never used it. They said if I encountered any issues with my wiring this would cover it.
