So XFINITY sends me a letter informing me that they have "found that you are not being charged for one or more of the following Additional Outlet or DTA equipment" Strangely enough, they also state that "effective with your next bill, you will be billed $17.45 for these services plus applicable taxes and fees."
I did install a Silicon Dust cable-card tuner one year ago, and I suspect they have decided to make some money on it. Silly me, I thought cable cards were a free service the cable companies agreed to provide when they were allowed to go all digital.
Anyway, the $%^&* at Comcast have decided to quit answering their phones. When I call them, a clearly automated system promises to call me back in one or two minutes. It does that, exactly, as promised, them promptly hangs up on me. I repeated this drill four times in one half hour.
For about ten cents, I would tell XFINITY to stick their entire system with its non-existent customer support (and my about to be $200 bill) where the Sun don't shine.
