Well I worked in Comcast for around 11 years (Quit in 2010 when xfinity slowly started becoming a thing) and went to centurylink for a decently cheap 40/5 services, but now I am paying 230 a month for it with now chance of lowering it so I am just going to switch back now, but I have a few questions:
Are the extra X1 boxes (All HD's by the way) include the super fancy voice remote, if so is it extra?
Can I still just hook up my own modem (SB6183 for the curious) and it won't screw with said X1 boxes
Does Xfinity still use ol' DHCP? (for the router)
And this is probably for the direct forum but appearntly my account is deliquent because of an old 50$ box charge (Contractor lost the box in his van im thinking.. doh!) but now it says I owe 0$ on the account page (after some discussion with collections) yet won't let me access a page, should i just call them and they will just remove it or am I going to have to fight about it?
