I've gone ahead and ordered a triple play package and will be dropping AT&T landline and Uverse internet.
For $164.99 I'm getting Digital Premier, 1 DVR, 3 HD boxes, Wireless Gateway, 50 MBPS internet and 2 ported unlimited phone lines. The price is good for 12 months with no contract. Installation is free and is scheduled for August 3. Will be saving $100 a month.
I did speak to her about X1 which is supposed to be coming within the next 2 months according to the rep. My concern was ordering now and being blocked out if they follow the new triple play customer restrictions like other markets. She said she noted my account that we could switch when the service is launched. My only question is should I have the installer place a moca filter so we are ready when X1 comes or will they need to do a separate installation for X1 anyways? Will he be likely to do it if I explain why we want it installed?
