I am using the Arris AX014AN 4K box and it has been working great. The one problem with it there is only one HDMI out and no audio so I have to use adapters to get two HDMI s out as well as audio.
It's now football season and I Slingbox Seattle Seahawks games to my son in California. That's where the trouble starts.
I can't get the M2 Slingbox to connect and send him the games. It is connecting to my wireless network and tests OK.
I have changed the powered splitter. Changed the adapter that converts HDMI to component, have changed the component cables for the Slingbox. The Slingbox company is saying they can't have a HDMI input because of some copyright agreements.
I have changed the output resolution on the box from 2160p30 4K UHD to 720 and 1080i thinking the Slingbox won't handle the higher resolution, still no go. Everything worked fine with the same setup, but a different cable box last year.
I have ran out of things to do and any advise and suggestions would be very much appreciated.
