Thank you, thank you, thank you to ComcastTeds on the Comcast forums for helping me with my cablecard issue.
After two weeks of futility and frustration, trying to work with Comcast service to try to resolve the problem¹ (working with 1-800-comcast and the cablecard activation team), ComcastTeds resolved the issue in a few short hours.
ComcastTeds, thank-you. Take a well-deserved bow.
1-800-comcast, and the Comcast cablecard activation line (1-877-405-2298): shame on you. For the customer disservice. And the "service charge" on my bill for my attempt to help Comcast.
¹ - there was an issue with the cable drop from the telephone pole to my house and, as usual, the local service tech who attended the issue was very good in her tasks to resolve that cable issue.
