forgive me if I sound a bit technically challenged here, but can anyone tell me what the new QAM channels are for Fox and the CW in the Seattle/Tacoma area? googling this has yielded me no results, and I can't figure out how I can get this info.
background: I've been recording limited basic cable through my PC using a digital tuner (QAM 256). several months ago it stopped picking up three channels and I had to manually add them. it was KCPQ-DT (fox), KSTW-DT (the CW), and CBC. the new QAM numbers assigned to them were 111.1, 111.2, and 60.2 respectively. anyway, this week, comcast must have moved the first two because they once again stopped working on my PC and my regular TV.
I rescanned my TV and it picked up the missing channels just fine. but rescanning with my PC never works well - I often have to manually add a few channels. (I'm using windows media center, which sucks, but it's a DVR that I don't have to pay a monthly fee so I try to keep it chugging along.)
So anyway, can anyone tell me the QAM numbers for these two channels for the seattle area? And how does one get this info? Last time I lucked out and found it on the internets, but I'm having no such luck now.
