I can view Xfinity TV and hear the audio feed on the Bose Soundbar when I enable CBL/Sat as the source on the soundbar remote. When I switch to Netflix, (Xfinity>Apps>Netflix), I see the Netflix video but I continue to hear the previous Xfinity channel's audio. To hear the the Netflix audio, I need to change the source on the Soundbar remote from Cbl/Sat to TV and then I can see and hear Netflix.
Is there a way I can just use the Xfinity remote to view and hear all my channels including Netflix w/o toggling the source on the Bose remote? I'm open at any changes or suggestions to make this easier to use.
My setup includes an LG 4k TV and the Bose 300 Soundbar. All connections are via HDMI and HDMI-ARC is enabled. The soundbar supports 1 HDMI port and 1 optical connection.

Is this how it's supposed to work or is my setup truly bonked? Not sure if this is what happens with anyone using a soundbar or if I have something mis-configured?
